ChildCareEd is an Approved Training Organization with the Center for Early Childhood Professional Development (CECPD). Courses may be used for both informal and formal training hours for those who work in child care centers, part-day children’s programs, school-age programs, summer day camps, family child care homes, large family child care homes, and residential child care facilities. This includes clock hours for directors, program directors, administrators, social services staff, child care staff, teachers, master teachers, lead teachers, assistant teachers, primary caregivers, permanent substitutes, and volunteers.
Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder:
Prior to or within 12 months of employment, teaching personnel must obtain and maintain a current Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder (OPDL) certificate. ChildCareEd courses are accepted towards the clock-hour requirements to obtain and renew your Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder level.

CECPD Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR):
ChildCareEd approved courses can be found on the CECPD Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR). Users may purchase approved courses through the ChildCareEd website. For Registry credit, please add your Registry ID number to your ChildCareEd account. Attendance data will be uploaded weekly to the Registry. Please allow a minimum of 5 business days for your completed course to appear on your Registry account.
