South Dakota does not have an official process to approve training. Courses offered by ChildCareEd may be accepted by the South Dakota Department of Social Services, Child Care Services Office, to meet annual in-service training requirements for those working in child care centers, group family child care homes, and before and after school care centers. This includes directors, teachers, providers, caregivers, child care workers, assistant child care workers, site coordinators, site assistants, and assistants.
