This training provides 3 hours of continued education towards health, safety, supervision of children and nutrition. It does not replace the Basic Health & Safety and Breastfeeding Awareness class required by the Maryland regulations.
At the end of this training participants will be able to:
Be able to list the parts of Active Supervision.
Explain when to report suspected child abuse.
Give examples regarding the prevention of illness in child care programs.
Distinguish appropriate indoor and outdoor safety concerns.
No prerequisites are required for the completion of this course.
