Emergency situations can happen at any time and at any place. Family care providers must know what to do in case of an emergency to
maintain the health and safety of all children in their care. After completing this two-hour training, participants will be able to: Demonstrates understanding of the importance of developing a plan to respond to emergency situations; demonstrate understanding of the steps to take in responding to emergencies; demonstrate understanding of the steps and procedures for reporting accidents, and identify the components of an emergency plan.

No prerequisites are required for the completion of this course.
