Childcare providers may be faced with a number of different types of emergency or disaster situations. When caring for young children, it is important that providers remain calm and follow established protocols and procedures to maintain the safety of staff and students. Preparing and planning are the best ways to manage during and after an emergency. This 6-hour Zoom training is an in-depth course that will help childcare providers learn what to do when disaster strikes and how to be better prepared.


**This course is currently aligned with Maryland's standards and regulations and meets the 6-hour emergency
preparedness training requirement under COMAR regulations.**

No prerequisites are required for the completion of this course.
