Childcare providers in Nevada are required to complete 2 hours of training in Child Nutrition/ Wellness annually.

The following trainings can be taken to meet the Child Nutrition/Wellness training requirement.

• On My Plate: Children's Nutrition (Approval Code: 87828) 3 hours
• The First Year: Feeding Infants (Approval Code: 87919) 2 hours
• Healthy Habits from the Start (Approval Code: 88103) 3 hours
• Supporting Breastfeeding Practices In Child Care (Approval Code: 88104) 2 hours
• Childhood Obesity (Approval Code: 88391) 2 hours

Childcare providers in Nevada are required to complete 3 hours of training in Child Development/Guidance & Discipline (Specific to age group served by facility).

The following trainings can be taken to meet the Child Development/Guidance & Discipline:

• Baby Steps to Milestones (Approval Code: 87877) 3 hours
• Developing Program Tranquility (Approval Code: 88052) 3 hours
• Enhancing Life and Development (Approval Code: 88055) 3 hours
• Mysteries of Challenging Behavior Solved (Approval Code: 88061) 3 hours
• Positive Attention: Infants and Toddlers (Approval Code: 88068) 3 hours
