    • College degree or CDA (if applicable)
    • Clear criminal background check
  3. State Designation and Forms: After receiving your certificate of completion, you’ll need to:
    • Be designated as a director or primary caregiver in Texas.
    • Submit Form 2911 (Governing Body Designation), Form 2760 (Controlling Person), and Form 2982 (Personal History Statement) to your licensing representative, along with supporting documentation​.
