Friendly, trustworthy, honest, and energetic teacher needed in a family daycare located in Olney, MD. Prior working experience at home daycare or Daycare center is preferred. Must enjoy working with infants and toddlers. Comfortable working with mixed age groups.
Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
-Being punctual is required.
-Located in Olney, Maryland
REQUIREMENTS
-Must have COVID-19 vaccine
-Pass the background check
-Certificates in early childhood education
-First aid & CPR
-High school diploma
-Montessori Training (Preferred)
-2 years teaching experience (Preferred)
-Excellent communication skills
DUTIES
-Willing to sit and play with the children
-Can lift to 40 lbs on a daily basis
-Keeping records of each child’s progress, interests, and any problems that may occur
-Adhering to procedures in preparing bottles and meals, changing diapers, Potty Training, putting children to bed, taking kids outside to play, and observing them.
-Organizing activities and developing curriculum
-Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day
