Montgomery County's Child Care Support Services offers financial assistance to early childhood educators pursuing the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. This support covers expenses related to CDA courses and assessment fees.

What does the program cover?

  • CDA Training
  • CDA Application Fee

Eligibility:

  • Residency and Employment: Applicants must reside or work in Montgomery County, MD.
  • Employment Status: Must be employed for at least 20 hours per week in a licensed child care center or registered family child care home within Montgomery County.
  • Maryland Child Care Credential: A current Maryland Child Care Credential at any level is required.
