NEW HAMPSHIRE: TEACH Early Childhood NH Child Development Associate Credential Scholarship

Did you know that TEACH Early Childhood New Hampshire offers a CDA Assessment Fee scholarship to cover the Application fee required by the Council for Professional Recognition in awarding a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential? 

📌 Who is eligible for this grant?

✅ You must work at least 30 hours per week in a licensed New Hampshire childcare center or licensed or registered family childcare home. 

✅ You must have the support of your employer and be willing to commit to a one-year contract and continue working at your sponsoring employer for at least six months after completing the contract.

✅ You must have a high school diploma or GED (this is a CDA Council for Professional Recognition requirement to earn the CDA)

✅ You must have completed your 120 CDA training hours and 480 clock hours that must be completed before the CDA assessment.  ChildCareEd offers the CDA training you will need and you can start right away!  

📌 What does the grant cover?

✅ 90% of the CDA Application Fee (TEACH pays 85%, your employer pays 5% and you pay the remaining 10%)

✅ $150 compensation
