NEW JERSEY: Workforce Registry CDA Scholarship

This scholarship helps early childcare educators in New Jersey pay for the required training, application, and renewal fees of the nationally recognized Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential™. 

What does the program cover?

• CDA Training
• CDA Initial Application Fee

 Eligibility:

• Be a Teacher or Assistant Teacher in a child care center or are a registered family child care provider
• Your program must be enrolled in Grow NJ Kids and/or receives payment on behalf of children that receive assistance through the NJ Child Care Assistance Program
• Must be employed for at least three months and remain employed at the same program while receiving scholarship funds and for one year after completing all scholarship-funded coursework
• Must be employed at least 20 hours per week
• Must complete all Child Care Development Block Grant (CCDBG) required health and safety training
