This course is designed for child care providers dedicated to creating safe, nurturing environments that support the developmental needs of young children. Participants will gain an understanding of how predictable and consistent care fosters trust and stability, essential for healthy growth in infants and toddlers. The course covers key supervision strategies, ensuring children’s safety and engagement during routines such as nap time, meal times, and transitions. Through learning concepts of Active Supervision—including effective ratios and group size management—caregivers will be prepared to monitor infants and toddlers effectively. In addition, caregivers will explore the diverse temperaments of infants and toddlers and appropriate interaction techniques. Caregivers will learn how to build strong, supportive relationships, ultimately enriching the quality of their care.
