Full-time and Part-time positions available. Full-time employees are eligible to receive health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
 
Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday.
 
Qualifications: A bachelors or higher in Education, Social work or Related Field
At least 4 years of Experience working with children ages 6 weeks -12 yrs.
 
A trainer who does not meet the experience criteria may substitute documentation of employment as an instructor of early childhood education, elementary education, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

To be a trainer for MSDE pre-service classes a trainer must meet the COMAR regulation 13a.14.08.05

If you’re seeking approval to become a childcare trainer, the first step is to complete the Maryland Child Care Trainer Orientation. The dates for Orientations during 2018/2019 are:

January 11, 2019
April 12, 2019
July 12, 2019
October 4, 2019
 
All trainings are held at MSDE from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.
 
Also required for anyone that is interested in becoming an approved trainer must also take the Training of Trainers course. Approved organizations for providing this are listed on the MSDE website at:
 

Prescreening and Registration are required to attend.
