#Child_Care, Before and After School #Director - Part Time
Columbia Association’s School Age Services program operates before and after school care in 20 elementary schools in Howard County.
We are seeking MSDE School Age Qualified Directors.
Responsibilities include implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum and weekly lesson plans meeting the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of children. Other duties include assisting with cleaning and maintaining a healthy, safe environment, promoting positive, open communication with families, children, and staff, supervising training, and counseling Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Program Aides.
Open positions include morning shifts (6:45 am - 9:15 am) and afternoon shifts (3:00 pm - 6:00 pm) and will begin Monday, August 21, 2023, and end the last day of school in June 2023.
Positions are part-time that offer great benefits, including free CA membership, 401K contributions, and discounts on our CA programs and classes.

6 Hour Medication Administration Training (MAT)

Must be 21 years or older with the following: 400 hours or more of hands-on experience working with school-age children or 1 year caring for school-age children as an MSDE registered family child care provider or approved/ certified to teach through MSDE.
