MARYLAND: MSDE Voucher / Scholarships Credential Funding

Sadly this initiative has ended, but there is still hope.

Thank you so much for your interest in learning more about the MSDE Training Voucher program. This was such an amazing opportunity for providers to receive a $400 training voucher to cover one of the Core of Knowledge Training and pre-service training courses for FREE, but unfortunately, the program has now ended.

That said, given the tremendous interest in the program, we don’t know if they could bring it back if more funding becomes available. You may be eligible for other grants in the future as well so please continue to visit our website and read our newsletter announcements for additional grant opportunities. Should you wish to proceed with training without the aid of a grant, all of our courses are available for purchase, often at a discount.

The Maryland Child Care Credential Program offered financial assistance to child care professionals who participate in the program at Level Two or higher. This assistance could be used to cover the costs of approved training, such as Core of Knowledge Training and pre-service training to a maximum of $400 per year. ChildCareEd offered 6 trainings that are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) for this funding program.
