Did you know that the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children (T.E.A.C.H.) offers a CDA Assessment Fee scholarship to cover the Application fee required by the Council for Professional Recognition in awarding a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential?
📌 Who is eligible for this grant?
✅ You must be a Texas resident
✅ You must work 30 hours per week in a licensed Texas childcare center or licensed or registered family childcare home and be supported by your employer. They will complete part of the application and commit to covering a small portion of the cost.
✅ You must earn $20 or less per hour
✅ You must have an active account with the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS).
✅ You must have a high school diploma or GED (this is a CDA Council for Professional Recognition requirement to earn the CDA)
✅ You must have completed your 120 CDA training hours There is a separate scholarship if you take your training with a Texas college, otherwise we often have the CDA training offered at a discount and you can start right away!
