Supervision plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and prevention of injuries in childcare settings for all ages. Supervision is an active process. It involves watching, listening, interacting, monitoring, and preventing problems. Childcare providers need to understand the components of effective supervision and how to apply them in various situations. This 3-hour training provides the components and strategies needed to implement active supervision in the childcare setting. Childcare providers will be able to supervise effectively in order to maintain a safe environment.
