Course description:
Mentoring staff makes them more valuable to your organization by developing and enhancing their skills, both professionally and personally. Mentoring programs are one of the most effective strategies to equip staff for success. Throughout the training, participants will gain valuable insight regarding mentoring, supervising, and observing staff and how to do so in an effective, positive manner. Through building and cultivating trusting relationships where goals are discussed, targeted, and met, administrators can provide effective feedback; both positive and constructive. Early childhood education settings benefit from supporting mentoring as part of a wider professional culture and comprehensive ongoing professional learning opportunities.
