*FREE* Nevada Initial Training Requirements

Nevada teachers, looking to work in the childcare setting? Take your initial requirements for FREE when you sign up for the following courses:

1. Building and Physical Premises Safety Including the Storage and Handling of Bio-Contaminants and Hazardous Materials
2. Transportation and Field Trip Safety in the Early Childhood Environment
3. Reducing the Risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
4. Emergency Preparedness and Response Planning Resulting from a Natural or Man-Made Event
5. Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect

H&H Child Care Training Center has created a coupon bundle of required initial trainings for providers in Nevada. 

As per Nevada Child Care Regulations NAC432A SERVICES AND FACILITIES FOR CARE OF CHILDREN, all caregivers working in licensed child care facilities are required to complete specific initial courses of training in child care in order to work with young children. 

These topics include: 

• CPR and First Aid.
• Signs and Symptoms of Illness with Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Recognition and Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.
• Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
• Child Development.
• Lifelong Wellness.
• Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma.
• Building and Physical Premises Safety/Storage of Hazardous Materials.
• Emergency Preparedness and Response Planning.
• Medication Administration and the Prevention of Food Allergies. 
• Transportation and Field Trip Safety. 

All initial training must be completed within 120 days of hire with the exception of Child Abuse and Neglect, which must be completed within 90 days of hire.
